In the history of the Russian literature, Pushkin has been honoured as ”the sun of the Russian poetry”, while Anna Ahmatova, ”the moon of the Russian poetry”. The great Russian poet Pushkin was always linked with the Imperial Village, where Anna Ahmatova had spent her poetic maiden years. The poetess once said: ”I'm doomed to all the misery of the world.” It's true that her poems brought her nothing but misery, which in turn, became stepping-stones for her to go to greatness later.
