Abstract
Taiwanese currency had been in circulation every since the release of NT in 1949. During the revision of history, there are many different style of patterns created. There are flowers, people, animals, architecture, transportation construction, etc. Hence, this paper tries to observe the pattern of the new money and also classification these patterns. The pattern classification is based on changes in the standard for a total of four times: Sun Yat-sen and the Bank of Taiwan period, scenic period, Zhongshan building period, and life period. This paper tries to analysis how each pattern shows the historical significance of certain period. On the subject approach, there are: Taiwanese subject buildings, Taiwanese transportation infrastructure, and Taiwanese agriculture. The reason to divide into three themes is due to a large proportion of these three themes under this topic. Finally, the public responses to the release notes and newspaper coverage pattern for the money will be analyses in the last chapter. If we carefully observe the change of patterns in NT, you can find it represents almost an epitome of Taiwanese recent history.
