Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is the responsibility of companies for envi-ronmental, social and governance issues. That is, while generating profits and being ac-countable to the interests of shareholders, we also have a social responsibility to our em-ployees, to the community and to the environment. CSR is based on internally organised top-down plans for policy implementation and sustainability strategies, as well as com-mitment to public service activities and environmentally sustainable social objectives.
Electric vehicles and autonomous cars are changing the automotive industry. Global vehicle manufacturers support this policy. Taiwan is one of the world's leading manufac-turers of electronic products, and many key components are manufactured by Taiwanese manufacturers. Of course, this can only be achieved if the government invests in the ex-pansion of charging stations and other infrastructure, in addition to lower costs for manu-facturers.
