The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship among parenting styles of sixth-grade elementary school children in New Taipei City, internet use behavior and learning adaption. The survey samples consisted of 467 sixth-grade elementary school children in New Taipei City. The instruments included Parenting Styles Scales, Internet Use Behavior Scales, and Learning Adaption Scales. The collected data were analyzed by using descriptive statistics, independent-sample t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson product-moment correlation, and multiple-stepwise regression analysis. Conclusions were as follows:
1. In terms of current status, the sixth-grade elementary school children in New Taipei City achieved a middle level of parenting styles, internet use behavior and learning adaption.
2. In sixth-grade elementary school children in New Taipei City, different parents’ education level and internet using situation showed significant differences in parenting styles.
