摘要: | This study investigated: 1) the reliability, validity, and objectivity of judging scores of the gymnastic rings apparatus. and 2) the relationships between the final scores and the start values, the bonus points, the dismount steadiness, and the deduction scores. The subjects analyzed in this study were 87 athletes in the men's rings event from 28 nations, who participated in the Summer University Daegu 2003. Statistical analyses revealed the following three results. First, the reliability, validity, and objectivity of the judging scores were found to be statistically significant. Second, the start values (difficulty), the bonus points (creativity), and the deduction scores (artistic form) are the key winning factors of the rings apparatus. The correlations between the final scores and the start values, bonus points, the deduction scores, and the dismount steadiness (stability) were r=.957, r=.889, r=.812, and r=.714 respectively. The correlation between final scores and dismount difficulty was r=.153 (p>.05), showing that the judging rules concerning dismount difficulty should be delimitated in order to put more weight on it in competitions during the years of 2005-2008. Third, no interaction effect was bound between the different start values and the deduction scores. Significant relationships were found between the final scores and the different start values and the different deduction scores. |
