本研究根據上述研究結果進行討論,並提出具體建議,供相關單位、實務工作者及後續研究者之參考。
The purpose of this study is to explore the current situation about student’s Learning Sat-isfaction and Career Adaptability, the discrepancy of different backgrounds students and investigate the correlation between Learning Satisfaction and Career Adaptability of undergraduate students from Mainland China studying in Taiwanese universities.
This study was carried out both questionnaire survey and structural interview research design.
The sample was adopted both paper and on-line questionnaire. The valid samples of questionnaire responses are 318 in total. The analyzed results are summarized as follows:
1. Most of students from Mainland China are only child. Female is more than male. Students come from Zhejiang province are more than others. Students studying at Business school are more than others. Most of students’ family socio-economic is in middle to mid--high range status.
2. In Learning Satisfaction scale, students scored 3.68 mean under the five-point Likert scale
The numeric indicated middle to mid-high lever in general. In Career adaptability scale, they scored 4.21 mean under the six-point Likert scale. The numeric indicated middle to mid-high level in general.
3. Demographic variables in Learning Satisfaction, Part-significant differences were found
in different grades and different schools.
4. Demographic variables in Career Adaptability, significant difference were found in
different grades and different schools,Part-significant differences was found in family so-cio-economic.
5. The canonical correlations between Learning Satisfaction and Career Adaptability were highly significant. The canonical correlations between the five dimensions of Learning Sat-isfaction and the five dimensions of Career Adaptability were highly significant also.
6. There are significant positive correlations between Learning Satisfaction and Career Adaptability.
7. The data gathering from interviews were used to complete the answers received in the ques-tionnaire survey.
Finally, findings in this study were discussed and the suggestion for practice and further research were also provided.
