寓言以簡單的文學形式呈現完整的文學結構與功能，非常適合在德國文學入門課 程上教授。本文欲從檢討德三學生期申測驗的結果出發，就超越文化時空與充分反映啟蒙思 潮的角度來雙重解讀萊辛 (G ． E ． Lessing) 的一則寓言＜守財奴＞ (Der Geizige)。
With its very simple language style the fable functions to the best for the beginning course of german literature. Starting from the analysis of a semester intermediate exam by my junior class, this paper attempts a double interpretation of a Lessing's fable@ "The Miser," with different aspects, the one going beyond the culture, time and space dimension, the other reflecting fully the spirits of Rationalism.
