本研究的研究目的主要為投資資訊與從眾行為之關係,並探討不同的銀行發出的資訊、專業人員建議及親朋好友之建議是否會影響他們之間的關係,並利用問卷設計方法將三個種類分開進行討論,來探討是否投資資訊是影響投資決策最大的影響因素,再探討投資者是否具自信心對上述關係所產生的干擾效果,並透過文獻探討將人格特質中的財務冒險傾向列為統計上的控制變數。研究結果顯示,投資大眾在進行投資決策時,投資資訊對投資者作決策時是具有參考價值,並根據此資訊而去做投資決策。
根據過去研究結果顯示個人的自信心愈強,則較不易受到他人的看法影響而較不易產生從眾行為。因此,本研究再去探討投資者自信心的干擾效果。研究結果發現不論投資者是否具有自信心去做投資決策時,有自信心或沒自信心的投資者對投資資訊的影響與從眾行為不具有干擾效果。
本研究建議中介機構在從事金融活動時,可讓投資者填寫一份簡單的小問巻,視投資者重視何種資訊,進而使中介機構有足夠的資料來幫助投資大眾進行投資決策。
