The purpose of this study is to explore the current status of Employment Transition Services for students Mental Retardation in special classes of Vocational schools . The population of this study is the graduates of special education in vocational high school for the graduating year of 2004, Employing cluster sampling , six schools were chosen as our samples ,「 The current status of Employment Transition Services」, This questionnaire had been pre-tested , and revised to become a formal questionnaire , Totally 235 questionnaires were re turned from six schools , The return rate were 91.4% Using percentages , means ,one-Way ANOVA and t-test as our statistical analytical methods , we have obtained the following six conclusions :
(一)The employment rate of the sample is 54.5%.
(二)The occupation type of the sample is the gas station 21 persons(34.4%),the cleaner 13 persons (21.3%).
(三)The employment rate of the sample is 100% because of the school study course depend on students hobby.
(四)Employment transition services status is different .Teachers will have the more correct attitude then boss .
(五)Employment transition services plan of parents 、teachers、 boss of the age 41-50 range is more satisfaction then 60.
(六)Employment transition services attitude :parents 、teachers、 boss of the ag 41-50 range is more correcter then 60.
