| 摘要: | 近年來老人福利服務提供多樣化，在老人照顧居住服務開辦了有老人安養、老人公寓與老人住宅服務，其中老人住宅始於2004年行政院核定的「促進民間參與老人住宅建設推動方案」。本研究主要從接受老人住宅服務的需求出發，透過藉由實際的需求探討，藉此分析老人住宅應有的角色與功能。本研究以質化個案研究法進行，深度訪談法蒐集資料，訪談對象包括6位受訪者。從中了解住民在馬斯洛不同的階層，其實都是對老人住宅具有角色期待，同時賦予角色應有之功能。從研究中可見，經由住民的訪談結果，可以得知老人住宅其實有諸多角色，有些角色在不同的層級重複出現，但所期待的功能會因為不同的需求層級而有所不同。
