This study is to research for Paiwan costume encoding management applying semiology and costume icon theory. At the first of this researching, we study what are the special item of Paiwan costume and the relationship of encoding. Then use discriminate analysis to find out the major variant that can to stand for the classifying and management. Establishing each level systemized item, and build up a completely Paiwan costume encoding system to apply in the management of Paiwan costume museum. This will decrease the management cost and support the costume museum information analysis for researching.
