| 摘要: | 此篇論文旨在展示如何使用DVD影片來提高學生的興趣、閱讀及寫作能力的有效策略及技巧。六項為教學目的影片相關的技巧及活動，即將予以呈現及討論。第一、讓學生參與選擇影片；第二、使用附有雙字幕的全影片；第三、如何善用DVD的技術；第四、觀看前的活動；第五、觀看中的活動；第六、觀看後的活動。此篇論文首先期望能對老師們想尋求有效及提高學生興趣的補充教材，藉以加強學生對課本內容的瞭解有所幫助，更期望能夠增加學生學習英文的興趣，且提高他們的英文能力。
This paper demonstrates effective strategies and techniques for using DVD films to upgrade students' motivation as well as reading and writing skills in the Freshman English class. The six film-related techniques and activities for pedagogical purpose to be demonstrated and discussed are: 1.) getting students involved in selecting films; 2.) using the whole film with dual subtitles; 3.) using DVD technology; 4. ) pre-viewing activities; 5.) viewing activities; and 6.) post-viewing activities. This paper 15 expected, first, to assist teachers seeking effective and motivational supplementary materials for reinforcing the textbook contents and, second, to increase unversity students' interest in learning English and consequently, promote their English proficiency. |
