摘要:	在本文裡，作者將概述馬丁路德•金恩博士(Dr. Martin Luther King)在1963年華盛頓特區林肯紀念堂的階梯上所發表的著名的演講特寫報導－“我有一個夢想”(I Have a Dream)。本文在一開始即對發表演說的背景做簡單的描述，包括所在地的位置，時間的設定、以及社會和文化的環境。再來，作者將會根據金恩博士的演講提供修辭學上精闢獨到的見解，其中包括了文體、語言結構、和主題的凝聚力。最後，本文將提出如何以這段英文演講教外語學習者(EFL)文學技巧的涵義，譬如：隱喻、明喻、象徵語言、押韻和對句法。 In this paper, the author discusses the particular discourse features of Dr. Martin Luther King's historic speech, "I Have a Dream", delivered on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial, Washington, D.C., in 1963. The paper will first begin with a brief description of the context, including the location, temporal setting, and the social and cultural circumstances in which the speech was delivered. Second, the author will provide a discourse analysis of the specific rhetorical discourse features unique to Dr. King's speech, which include the genre, linguistic structure, and cohesion within the text. Finally, this paper will address the implications of using this speech with English as foreign language (EFL) learners to teach literary devices such as metaphor, simile, figurative language, rhyme and parallelism.
