    Abstract: 公開演說通常是一個人生活中最恐懼的部分。教師必須不斷在公開場合說話。公開演說呈現諸多挑戰，而引起我們的焦慮不安。然而，公開演說讓我們得以分享經驗並影響別人。作者在本文中，討論公開演說時聽眾參與的重要性。公開演說是雙向過程，講者與聽者交換訊息，也商討訊息。講者旨在藉由與聽眾的對話。獲得聽眾的迴響。


    Public speaking is often the most feared part of a person's life. Continual requirements necessitate that the teacher perform on the public stage. Public speaking presents numerous challenges, which arouse our anxieties. Yet, speaking in public allows us to share our experiences and influence others. In this paper the authors discuss the importance of the audience-centered partnership in public speaking. Public speaking is a two-way process, where both the speaker and listener exchange messages and negotiate messages. The speaker aims for audience response by speaking directly with the audience.
