本研究計畫擬衡量學生修習跨文化課程後,對跨文化體認的情形。跨文化的體認,主要是探討來自不同文化網絡的人們,在互動中產生的自覺。在組合評量基礎上 (Ingulsrud, Kai, Kadowaki, Kurobane, and Shiobara 2002),本文將探討新的衡量架構,用以衡量跨文化體認的情形。衡量架構涵蓋了三項元素:知識、共情及行動。全文由五個部分組成,一、前言,二、文獻回顧,三、評量架構,四、體認衡量,以及 五、結論。
This study will measure the effect of students' competence on their awareness in a cross-cultural curriculum. Cross-cultural awareness is focused on consciousness of one's personal reaction to people who come from different cultural networks. Based on the portfolio assessment approach (Ingulsrud, Kai, Kadowaki, Kurobane, and Shiobara, 2002), a modified assessment framework will be constructed to measure cross-cultural awareness which takes a longitudinal view of the learning process and involves three factors: knowledge, empathy, and behavior. The article comprises four components: 1. introduction, 2. literature review, 3. assessment framework, 4. assessing awareness, and 5. conclusion.
