The purpose of this research is to examine the relationship between political be-havior of employees in the workplace and perceived work performance. Previous studies state that there may be an inconsistent relationship between political behavior of employees in the workplace and perceived work performance. Moreover, this relation-ship is still unable to obtain the explanation through previous research. Logically, polit-ical behavior has positive influences to perceived work performance. The more we in-volve in job, the more efficiency we get. Data for this study was obtained by the mean of questionnaires from any industrial employees. 400 questionnaires were sent and the valid questionnaires were 351 by deleting incomplete or poor response questionnaires. The effective returns-ratio was 87.8%. A hierarchical regression analysis was taken for testing the two hypotheses. Based on the results generated, personal strategies were pos-itively associated with person-job fit. Practical suggestions and future suggestions were also provided.
