Stress is an inevitable challenge and experience of competitive sports. How is the stress defined? What are the sources of stress for athletes? To face challenges and stresses, how athletes cope with them and survive in highly competitive settings, such as the Olympic Games, and win a gold medal is the ultimate goal for athletes. We learned several implications from the 2024 Paris Olympic Games. Cultivating tough mental attitude, using excellent psychological skills for peak performance, establishing well-organized plans, and maintaining an optimal psychological state for the competition are the keys to Olympic success. After a long-term and delicate training and preparation, athletes will win gold medals in Olympic Games some days. |
