Paralympic athletes often suffer from the inconvenience of their own disabilities, which will also produce more compensatory movements, unilateral muscle weakness or fatigue injuries caused by compensation, if combined with their own special training, it may lead to more compensation or fatigue accumulation. Therefore, it is necessary to understand the sports injuries that may occur in each sub-event of Paralympic athletes (such as: wheelchairs, amputees, cerebral palsy and visually impaired athletes) , so as to give sufficient warm-up exercises before training, timely recovery after training, and avoid more sports injuries caused by their own inconvenience and the accumulated physical burden of training. In addition, with the intervention of the athletic trainers' support, it is hoped that the sports injuries of Paralympic athletes can be set up to stop the damage, so that there will be an opportunity for improvement.According to the author's search in the Pubmed database using the keyword "Paralympic sport", since 2009, international scholars have invested in and published research on Paralympic exercise, and although the number has increased significantly in 2016, there are only 16 related literatures, and the total number of relevant literature is only 167 in 2022, and there are even fewer relevant literature in Taiwan. In view of this, the author has briefly summarized the relevant discussion of sports injuries in Paralympic athletes. |
