摘要: | 數位革命改變了電視新聞產製態樣,電視新聞頻道的報導呈現更多元化觀點,使閱聽大眾享有多樣化的選擇。在過去數十年間,電視台的產製逐步走向數位化,並將視頻擴展至網路上,這也創造出新一波的新聞播出可能性,電視新聞頻道面對跨平台合作的趨勢,進一步拓展新聞傳播渠道。
本文主旨於研析新聞電視頻道在數位時代下,不同播出之管道對新聞編排差異,欲深入探討同一家電視集團中,新聞編輯從業人員根據什麼實踐工作原則編排不同性質頻道之電視新聞,社群媒體電視台出現後,對於新聞編排政策的影響因素。主要以研究旺旺中時媒體集團旗下「中天新聞」及「中視新聞」兩新聞頻道為案例分析。研究發現,新聞編輯會依不同播出時段,考量閱聽人的生活習慣與方式,改變其編排方式影響新聞的選擇。而在選取新聞判斷的方式上,包括新聞畫面精彩程度、受到競爭友台影響及收視率。新聞選擇的依據則有電視台政治立場、廣告主因素以及新聞帶品質。
本研究還發現,中天新聞雖然從電視52台轉變到網路播出,在頻道定位上仍定位成新聞頻道,但編排順序打破前後新聞邏輯性相關的傳統編播思維。網路化後新聞播出的前後相關性明顯降低,最主要原因是,擷取後上架的精華版,滾動的長尾效應帶來的流量,會優於當下的線上流量。不過,重大新聞發生時,關注度相對很高,網路搜尋度也會很熱,因此,相關新聞堆疊、篇幅加大,這個原則和思維是不變的。數位時代和過去新聞編輯主要不同處在於:新聞傾向遊戲化及主播增加互動過程,政治新聞會佔較多的篇幅,另需推廣公司產品,因此需要編排商品乾稿及宣傳廣告。另外,與傳統不同點有採多頻道經營、節目長度增多和新聞鏡面改以手機觀看的角度為出發點。
