No matter which country they are in, financial personnel often handle large capital flows and confidential customer information, so the industry is highly sensitive (Cai Zongting, Zhang Yuling, 2015). For this reason, some financial companies must attach great importance to the personality traits of their employees as one of their talent selection methods.
This study conducts research and analysis on the relationship between employees' personality traits and job satisfaction and their work performance, and uses employees in the listed financial holding industry as the research object to explore the impact of employee personality traits and job satisfaction on job performance. Research. A total of 200 questionnaires were distributed in this study to 14 listed financial holding companies. A total of 200 questionnaires were recovered. After excluding invalid and incomplete responses, there were a total of 166 valid questionnaires, with a recovery rate of 84%.
Results This study found that employee personality traits and their facets have a positive and significant impact on job satisfaction and job performance, and that job satisfaction partially mediates the relationship between the five major personality traits and job performance in the mediating effect.
