Abstract:	2009年由北方謙三小說化的《望鄉之路》，其主角原型是作者的曾祖父森平太郎，他於日本統治前期移居台北，創辦「新高商会」。本人希望透過作家北方謙三的描繪將森平太郎的人生哲學具體化，並透過比較作品中的虛構與史實，探討其作為企業發展史的代表性，並將「新高商会」的企業文化具象化。二次世界大戰戰敗導致「新高商会」被接收，創辦人的離世使其全盛時期結束，戰後「新高商会」消失無蹤，而留下的資料有限。本論文亦將根據在日本當地的訪談及文獻調查，分析「新高商会」對台灣和日本帶來的價值。
