Abstract:	吐蕃的橫空岀世與其周邊的交手過程與結果，影響中國中古史乃至世界史的發展頗鉅。本計畫的執行，可填補國內學界的空白，亦可補大陸、國外學界研究的不足，突破前人論著的窠臼，提出青康藏高原文化的模式（pattern），促使國人更加理解西藏文化，以及吐蕃文化在國史及世界史上的意義。提供唐史學界及整體學界卓參。
