The government actively promotes "Information Security is National Security", and hopes to grow more cybersecurity start-ups to revitalize the cybersecurity industry. Taiwan's large technology-based consortiums such as ITRI(Industrial Technology Re-search Institute) and III(Institute for Information Industry) have also responsively joined the rank by utilizing intrapreneurship. This study chooses a cybersecurity startup incubated by the consortium as a case. It adopts a business incubation method-ology to examine the coverage and effectiveness of as-is mechanisms in perspectives like technology, workplace and equipment, capital, entrepreneurial guidance, business network, professional services, etc. In addition to evaluate the feasibility of applying the mechanisms in theory to the Taiwan, this study also explore the reason why it needs different schemes and strategies when growing cybersecurity startups, and then provides directions and suggestions for improvement.
