有鑒於此，本研究想探討COVID-19疫情對我國海運業股價造成異常報酬之影響。股價報酬資料範圍自COVID-19疫情開始，並在世界衛生組織亦於當日宣布疫情為「國際關注的突發公共衛生事件」日的2020年1月30日為事件日，股價報酬樣本資料之取得，係透過訊息公開之資料，主要「TEJ新聞資料庫」。
