Historical buildings are unique cultural resources.These buildings have become important platforms for demonstrating the power of national knowledge and cultural depth.This study is to identify which business model best suts for the preservation and reuse historic buildings. This study mainly adopts semi-structured interview method and secondary data analysis method.
The main question of this paper are as follows. First, understand the current states of historical building preservations in Taiwan. In addition, discussing the ways in which historic buildings can be restored, preserved and reused. Finally, discuss whether the government should continue using public-to-private method to reach the goal of expanding social influence.
According to the research, public to private is the main direction in utilizing historical buildings.Besides,current situation is to cultivate cultural industries as another fundamental of economic development.Coordinate with the policy,companies could put more resources into historical buildings.In order to agglomerate cultural creative power.
