The purpose of this study was to investigate the research on "the perception of abdominal meridian massage", "the effect of abdominal meridian massage" and "satisfaction" among middle-aged and elderly women. This research adopted the questionnaire survey method, taking middle-aged and elderly women aged 45-65 in the Greater Taipei area as the research objects. A total of 400 questionnaires were distributed, and 400 were returned. A total of 386 valid questionnaires were obtained, with an effective recovery rate of 96.5%. The questionnaire measurement tools used included "Demographic Background Information" (8 items), "Abdominal Meridian Massage Cognition Scale" (13 items), "Abdominal Meridian Massage Effectiveness Scale" (12 items) and "Satisfaction Scale" (8 items). The descriptive statistics, one-way analysis of variance, Pearson product-difference correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis were used, and the results were as follows:
    (1) The cognition of abdominal meridian massage, the effectiveness and satisfaction of abdominal meridian massage of middle-aged and elderly women were all at the upper-middle level.
    (2) The perception of abdominal meridian massage among middle-aged and elderly women varied significantly depending on the "time of each abdominal massage".
    (3) The effectiveness of abdominal meridian massage for middle-aged and elderly women varied significantly depending on "occupation", "time of abdominal massage each time", and "frequency of abdominal massage".
    (4) The satisfaction of middle-aged and elderly women varied significantly depending on the "time of each abdominal massage" and "the frequency of abdominal massage".
    (5) There were significant positive correlations among middle-aged and elderly women's cognition of abdominal meridian massage, effectiveness, and satisfaction of abdominal meridian massage.
    (6) The cognition of abdominal meridian massage and the effectiveness of abdominal meridian massage in middle-aged and elderly women had predictive power on satisfaction.

Based on the results of this study, suggestions were made to provide middle-aged and elderly women, community homes, government agencies and follow-up researchers.
