| 摘要: | 個人積極參與地方宮廟活動，深刻體會地方宮廟對在地民眾的影響。本研究將針對我國宮廟的社會責任進行深入分析以了解地方宮廟的日常活動，並評估宮廟影響社會的程度及分析宮廟社會責任的實踐，因有長期參與宮廟事務的經驗，特將地方宮廟的社會責任列為論文研究的主題。本研究採質性研究法，包含訪談法、參與觀察法、個案研究法。
地方宮廟對我國社會的影響力既深且遠，早期先民大多數是冒著生命危險，從大陸航行台灣海峽到台灣，對未來懷著高度的不確定感，宗教信仰便成為人民心中的寄託，因而形成多元宗教文化、近年來地方宮廟也對社會民眾的需求做出具體回應，如急難救助、獎學金的頒發、社區老人共餐及救助物資的發放、對社會都有非常重要的貢獻。
研究發現：由於台灣各類型宮廟廣佈民間各角落，在傳統社會中，宮廟肩負著教化人心的責任，傳遞諸方神佛的信仰，也給予民眾安定的期盼。
I have actively taken part in local temple activities and have deeply experienced the influence of temples on local residents. Targeting the social responsibilities of domestic temples, this research attempts to conduct a thorough analysis on the daily activities of local temples and assess how these temples have influenced society and practiced their social responsibilities. Due to my experience in taking part in temple-relevant affairs, the main agenda of this research will be the social responsibilities of local temples.
This research takes a quantitative research approach and utilized research methods such as interviewing, participant observation, and case studies.
Local temples possess a deep and thorough influence on the society of Taiwan. Most of our ancestors traveled to Taiwan from Mainland China, risking their lives crossing the Taiwan Strait. Therefore, they bore great uncertainty on their future and religion became their spiritual sustenance. This has resulted in the versatile religious cultures of Taiwan. In recent years, local temples have also made substantial responses to society’s demands, such as providing emergency aid, giving out scholarships, carrying out senior citizen meal programs, and giving out emergency supplies. These actions have all contributed greatly to society.
Given that various kinds of temples stretch deeply into different corners of Taiwan society, they bear the responsibility of education and spiritual sustenance in traditional society, in which they not only convey religious ideas, but also fulfill people’s anticipation of calmness. |
