The purpose of this research is to understand art therapists' understanding and perceptions of spontaneous art in art therapy, and to explore how art therapists encourage and support individual spontaneous art in the course of practice. This research uses the in-depth interview method as the research orientation. Six art therapists who have obtained the Taiwan Art Therapy Association's Art Therapist Certificate (TRAT) and have the Taiwan Counseling Psychologist Certificate are the research participants. Three of the research participants are university Studying in psychology-related departments, the three study participants were studying in art-related departments in universities, and each conducted a 2-hour in-depth interview each time. During the interview, the semi-structured interview outline was used as a guide and the whole process was recorded. After the interview, a verbatim draft of the interview was written according to the recording file, and the verbatim draft was compiled and coded for data analysis using thematic analysis method. Finally, two co-analysts were invited to assist in the data analysis and analysis. Check with the original interviewee for data verification. According to the research results, the following conclusions were reached in this research:
1. The learning experience of art therapists drives the understanding of spontaneous art
2. Art therapist's multiple theoretical background-oriented multiple practical application methods
3. The practical experience of the art therapist cultivates the ability to use media and techniques flexibly
Finally, the research conclusions, research suggestions and research thoughts presented in this study are only for reference by relevant researchers and practitioners in the follow-up.
