    摘要: 自由競爭市場中,當供應商過多時,供應商彼此之間就會出現削價競爭。現有ODM市場的供應商眾多,彼此的競爭已讓傳統ODM代工廠的毛利長期位於低檔,而ODM直銷模式是否能讓企業提升獲利,帶來新的獲利機會呢?本研究針對新的產業模式(ODM直銷模式)做探討。
    當企業的版圖想要延伸到一個新的領域時,需要有足夠的資源支持企業朝向這個方向前進,這資源可以是財力(透過併購)或是專業能力也可以是老闆的野心和魄力或膽識。而對於代工及製造業來說,研發就是關鍵能力。研究中將從資源基礎理論的視角來探討成功案例,了解該模式是否能為企業帶來較高毛利率。探討經營者是如何掌握轉型契機,願意跨出傳統伺服器代工轉型至ODM直銷模式。
    本研究透過個案分析蒐集個案的公開資料整理,並且透過專家訪談來得到專家對於ODM直銷模式的看法,在收斂整理後提出結論,將可提供傳統ODM廠商在做企業策略轉型時的參考依據。

    This thesis focuses on the new business model (Direct ODM model). In a freely competitive market, when there are too many suppliers in a market, there will be in a price war between suppliers. And now, there are many suppliers in the existing ODM market and they are competing with each other. The gross profit of traditional ODM manufacturer has been in the low-end for a long time, Whether the Direct ODM Model can enable companies to increase profits and bring new profit opportunities. This is a key topic of this research.
    When a company's territory wants to extend to a new field, it must have sufficient resources to support the company to move in this direction, this resource can be financial resources. For the ODM manufacturer, the R&D will be the key ability. This research will explore successful cases and base on the RBV theory (resource-based theory) to understand whether the new business model can be used Enterprises bring higher gross profit margins. Discuss how managers catch the opportunity of transformation and are willing to move beyond the traditional ODM manufactuer to the Direct ODM business model.
