| 摘要: | 過去林書豪是哪國人一直是熱議的話題，以國籍來說，他是美籍亞裔，並不能算是正統的台灣籍，但就在掀起一陣旋風時，媒體與國人將他冠上「台灣之光」 的稱謂，換言之，林書豪也成為台灣國族期待投射的對象，不過就在林書豪轉至中國 CBA 效力後，專家評論其應該漸漸與台灣之光的稱號脫離關係，為什麼在 NBA 是台灣之光，轉至 CBA 就不應該是呢?其中的關係，是本研究的價值。
首先，民眾了解一個陌生的人、事、物時常會透過媒體報導，媒體從業人員消化過後以報導形式呈現給閱聽眾，因此，媒體的再現方式，往往會對閱聽眾造成影響。其次，台灣的國族主義被過去研究指出，存在爭光與沾光的迷思，追朔過去歷史，也能發現台灣的國族主義為何有如此特殊之現象。林書豪作為國族投射的對象，對台灣邊緣化的運動有著希望，因此本研究以林書豪為關鍵字，透過蒐集媒體報導，解析在國族主義薰陶下的媒體再現。

In the past, Jeremy Lin’s nationality has always been a hot topic. As far as his nationality is concerned, he is Asian American, and he cannot be regarded as an orthodox Taiwanese citizen. However, when he was famous than before , the media and compatriots called him "the light of Taiwan". In other words, Jeremy Lin has also become the target of Taiwanese nationality’s expectations. However, after Jeremy Lin moved to China to play for the CBA, experts commented that he should gradually become detached from the title of Taiwan’s Light. Why is it the light of Taiwan in the NBA? Shouldn’t it be transferred to CBA? The relationship is the value of this research.
First of all, the public often reports through the media when they understand a keyman, event, or thing, and the media practitioners digest it and present it to the audience in the form of a report. Therefore, the way the media reproduces often affects the audience. Secondly, the nationalism of Taiwan has been pointed out by past research that there are myths of winning and dipping glory. Looking back on the past history, we can also discover why Taiwan's nationalism is so special. Jeremy Lin, as the object of national projection, has hope for Taiwan's marginalization movement. Therefore, this research uses Jeremy Lin as the key word to analyze the media representation under the influence of nationalism through collecting media reports.
This study uses content analysis to explore how the Liberty Times, United Daily News, and China Times reported Jeremy Lin during the NBA and CBA periods. Hundreds of texts in three periods are categorized by category construction. In addition, the content of representative texts is analyzed through qualitative text analysis. The study found that not only the amount of coverage of the three media in the three periods is very different, but the choice of reporting topics and emotional strategies are also out of balance. In summary, NBA and CBA are both high-level basketball tournaments. During the CBA period, there was no excitement like the NBA period. The choice of news topics tended to be single, and this phenomenon gradually appeared in the late NBA. Is Jeremy Lin excellent? Probably not the main factor in the choice of the report. As the seasons change, Jeremy Lin’s national projection in the name of the light of Taiwan will come to an end. |
