人類賦予各種花朵的代表意涵，用來表達難以用言語溝通的各種情感！自古至今，花卉在東、西方被賦予更深層的文化意涵，詩人與文學家借花傳達內心的真正情感、稗官野史記錄著許多與花有關的動人故事，傳頌千年。中、外的藝術家用畫筆寫下花朵的動人姿態，本論文期望藉由筆者的創作論述，進而掌握花精華的文化內涵。
本論文以「花語含英」為主題，用畫紀錄十二個月的代表花卉，除了展現花朵的美妙姿態、表現四季花卉風情之外，更希望藉由此次的創作實踐，引發觀者的共鳴，從美學的觀點重新看待四季美麗綻放的花朵，以其豐富的文化內涵，締造美妙的視覺心靈饗宴。
在創作實踐的部份，使用水墨和漆畫兩種媒材，描繪同一花卉主題。「感物吟志，莫非自然」創作中除了表現出花卉的美妙姿態之外，更結合了詩人與文學之美，創造出值得再三品味的畫面情境。
本論文共計五個章節：
第一章 緒論：敘述研究動機與目的、研究範圍與方法。
第二章 花語的文化與風情。
第三章 花語主題之繪畫名作賞析。
第四章 繪畫創作理念與作品解析
第五章 結論：創作心得回顧與省思、未來創作前瞻。
Flowers have been endowed various images by human to express all sorts of unspeakable emotion. For many years, flowers also have been given deeply cultural significance in both western and oriental worlds. By way of flowers, poets and men of letters express their true emotion, books of anecdotes also record touching stories relative to flowers which chanting for thousands years. Most of Chinese and foreign artists pain touching postures of flowers with their brushstrokes, thus, the purpose of this thesis is that through the creative dissertation of the author, people can realize more the cultural connotation of the quintessence of flowers.
Using paintings to record the representative flowers for twelve months, this thesis is entitled “The Quintessence of Flowers”. By way of showing the wonderful posture of seasonal flowers, this paper expects to resonate with readers through the abundant cultural connotation of flowers, and to create a marvelous visual soul feast.
In implementation aspects, the same flowers are painted in two ways, ink and wash and lacquer. Inspired by nature, the creative works not only show the beautiful postures of flowers, but also the combined beauty of poets and literature, so the picture is worth tasting again and again!
This thesis contains five chapters:

4.The idea and the analysis of creation
5.Conclusion: The experience and reflection of creation and the foresight of the creation in the future
