摘要: | 近幾年,數位音樂市場興起,將音樂專輯發行漸漸轉型為在線上數位化的影音平台發布,現在人們在各大影音平台上都能隨時隨地的聽歌,唱片已不再是人們聽歌的唯一載體,從而轉變為收藏的層面。由此可知,一張經典的唱片,不只唱片中的音樂好聽,音樂專輯的封面設計也是讓人想要收藏的因素之一,當購買專輯的因素不單單只是音樂內容而已,反而多了許多感性的層面,使得專輯封面設計將做為視覺與聽覺的平面設計產物,設計師將透過唱片包裝設計在包裝的形式及封面設計上精心製作出,能讓聽眾、粉絲感受到聽覺的享受及視覺上的衝擊,享受這種多重感官魅力。一張優秀的專輯封面設計能為帶來不斐的銷售成績,能夠直接影響大眾購買專輯的因素,在傳播過程有著重要的作用。
本研究目的,將採用魅力工學(Miryoku engineering)的研究方式來進行探討專輯封面吸引人並具有影響力得獎的魅力因素及特質,以及其抽象感受與具體設計之間的關係。本研究樣本以近三十年的葛萊美最佳音樂專輯封面設計獎(Grammy Award for Best Recording Package)之得獎作品來探索其魅力因素。首先透過質化的深度訪談法,來訪談10位在設計領域具有高涉入度者,將訪談結果整理並繪製評價構造圖(Evaluation Grid Method),歸納出影響專輯封面設計的主要魅力元素,建構出感性魅力因子和設計要素之間的關聯性,探討出提升樂迷與評審喜好因子。最後再利用網路所發行的問卷資料,以問卷資料之結果,進行數量化I類(Quantitative Theory Type I)的分析。
研究結果得知,在音樂專輯封面設計的魅力元素,可分為「專輯構圖」、「專輯配色」、「文字排版」、「專輯風格」這四大魅力因子,而其抽象感受與具體設計特質之間的關係如下:
1.在專輯構圖方面,「文字畫面排版」是最看重的魅力,在視覺設計領域中,畫面構圖是非常重要的要素;2.專輯配色方面,可得知「具有吸引力」是會吸引大眾目光的重要具體因素,色彩在生活中占很大一部份,也是進入視覺的第一線;3.從文字排版方面,可知道「文字有設計感」是大眾對於文字排版的喜愛之具體魅力,在視覺設計中,文字已是可以當作圖案還進行編排,從而吸引大眾之目光;4.而專輯風格方面,了解到「獨特的藝術風格」是吸引大眾的喜愛具體魅力,利用獨特新穎的方式來呈現,能夠滿足喜愛不同風格的消費者群。

It can be seen from this that a classic album, not only the music in the album is good, but also the cover design of the album is one of the factors that make people want to collect it. When buying an album, the factor is not only the music content, but a lot of emotional At the same time, the album cover design will be used as a visual and auditory graphic design product. The designer will carefully craft the packaging form and cover design through the album packaging design, so that listeners and fans can feel the enjoyment of hearing and visual satisfaction. Shock and enjoy this multisensory glamour. An excellent album cover design can bring great sales results, can directly affect the factors that the public buys an album, and plays an important role in the communication process.
The purpose of this research is to use the research method of Miryoku engineering to explore the attractive and influential factors and characteristics of the album cover, as well as the relationship between its abstract feeling and specific design. This research sample explores the attractiveness of Grammy Award for Best Recording Package winners over the past three decades. First, through the qualitative in-depth interview method, we interviewed 10 people with high degree of involvement in the design field, sorted out the interview results and drew an Evaluation Grid Method, summed up the main attractive elements that affect the design of album cover, and constructed an evaluation grid method. The correlation between the perceptual charm factor and the design factor is explored, and the factor that enhances the fans and the judges' preference is discussed. Finally, using the questionnaire data issued on the Internet, the results of the questionnaire data are used to carry out Quantitative Theory Type I analysis.
The results of this study found that the attractive elements of music album cover design can be divided into four attractive elements: "Album composition", "Album color ", "Text layout", and "Album style". The relationship between them is as follows:
In terms of album composition, "text and screen layout" is the most important charm. In the field of visual design, screen composition is a very important element. It can affect people's feelings about objects, thereby affecting the public's love; 2. In terms of album color matching, it can be seen that "attractiveness" is an important specific factor that will attract the public's attention. Color plays a large part in life and is also the first line of vision. 3. From the aspect of text layout, we can know "Text has a sense of design" is the specific charm of the public's important love for text typesetting. Text is no longer the existence of conveying information. In visual design, text can be used as a pattern and arranged to attract the attention of the public; 4. In terms of album style, I learned that "unique artistic style" is a specific charm that attracts the public's love. Using a unique and novel way to present it can not only attract more people's attention, but also satisfy consumers who like different styles. |
