摘要: | 本研究旨在探究應用Quizlet融入英語教學,對九年級體育班學生之學習動機影響之研究。本研究以台北市某公立國中體育班23名學生為研究對象,進行十二週,共24堂課,每堂45分鐘之教學。研究過程進行量化分析,於研究前後以「學習英語動機量表」進行施測,並將問卷收集後以SPSS電腦套裝軟體進行平均數、標準差、相依樣本t考驗統計分析,藉以瞭解教師應用Quizlet融入教學,對學生的學習動機提升之成效。
本研究結果顯示,當教師將Quizlet融入英語教學時,對體育班學生的學習注意力、相關性、信心和滿意度有顯著影響。總體而言,本研究的結果證實,將Quizlet融入英語詞彙學習過程中,對九年級體育班學生受益良多,他們的學習動機有明顯的增強。
This research aimed to explore the application of mobile learning system, Quizlet, into English teaching in learning motivation of the ninth grade sports talented class students in a junior high school. Twenty-three ninth-graders from sports talented class students in Taipei city were selected as the subjects. It was conducted for twelve weeks, with a total of 24 lessons, each lasted 45 minutes. Quantitative analysis was used during the research process, and the “English Learning Motivation Scale” questionnaire was adopted for data collection before and after the research. Data analyses, including averages, standard deviations, and dependent-sample T-test were employed for further interpretation.
The results of this research showed that when teachers integrated Quizlet into English teaching, there were significant impacts on sports talented students’ learning attention, relevance, confidence, and satisfaction. Overall, the findings of this study confirmed that the ninth-grade sports talented students benefited more when Quizlet was integrated in their English vocabulary learning process, and their learning motivation was greatly enhanced. |
