In view of today's increasing attention to air quality and the rise of awareness of animal protection, the governments of counties and cities now have public animal homes (shelters). The government has also begun to regulate indoor air quality for various indoor public places. However, the air quality in the animal house has not been paid much attention.
There are also many people who love dogs and cats in their homes. They will set up homes for stray animals in their homes to rescue some injured or replaced cats and dogs. There are also many people in the folk who love dogs and cats who will set up homes for stray animals in their homes. Rescue some dogs and cats that are injured or discarded. But because the locations are mostly in residential areas, Sometimes it is unavoidable because of the large number or insufficient cleaning. Cause barking or smelling of dogs and cats to interfere with neighbors, It also relatively affected the quality of the living environment.
Regarding the settings of animal homes (shelters) and half-way homes and animal placements, most people also consider shelters because of factors such as environmental pollution, barking or unpleasant odors, etc. The setting holds the idea of opposition or dislike.
The living environment of the animals in the shelter is also not good. It often causes the infection of animal diseases, which will lead to the killing of the animals in the shelter due to the disease.
There are not only cats and dogs in the animal shelter, but also many staff and volunteers. Therefore, when the air quality in the shelter is bad, it will not only affect the animals, but also affect the health of the staff.
In view of this, this study hopes to focus on animal shelters and homes of animals, Survey people's perception of air quality and odor through questionnaires. And survey people's awareness and support of stray animals and animal shelters, This will increase public awareness of animal protection issues.
And use air quality detection equipment to measure the air quality in the shelter, Check the health environment of the animals and staff in the animal house.
Based on the consideration of stray animals and the living environment of the people, Promote rapport between animal shelters and neighbours, Then establish a containment environment that cares for the relationship between animals and friendly neighbors.
