According to the results of the 108 Sports City Survey, the overall survey results show that 83.6% of Chinese people usually do sports, which is an increase of 0.5% from the previous year (83.1%). However, the sports massage industry has not matured with the increase in sports population and massage demand. The aim of this study is to know more about the reason, because of the difficulty of talent training? Budget constraints? There are still other factors that make the sports massage industry not thriving.
Based on the collection of literature and the analysis of in-depth interviews, this research focuses on the feasibility of setting up sports massage areas in sports venues. The impact of sports massage on sports performance and the application of sports marketing in setting up sports massage areas are related to the opposite. Units and subjects conducted in-depth interviews to understand the importance of massage for sports recovery, the cooperation between venues and sports masseurs, and the difficulties in setting up sports massage areas. Finally, they summarized the information obtained and put forward conclusions and suggestions.
The results of the study found that the current Taiwanese sports massage market is not yet mature, including factors such as difficulty in hiring sports massage personnel, differences in cognition between owners and employees, and the lack of attention to sports massage by sports centers. As a result, the market cannot effectively increase the public’s interest in sports massage and general massage The difference between them will affect the feasibility of setting up sports massage areas in sports venues.
