    Abstract: 本研究主要在探討多重智能障礙者親職照顧的照顧歷程,以及歷程中可能遭遇的困境與解決方式、歷程中建立的關係、以及親職照顧關係中幸福感的生成。本研究採取個案研究法及深度訪談法。研究對象為台北市陽明教養院多重智能障礙院生之主要親職照顧者五位。研究發現,從確認狀況後,親職照顧者的心情跟著多重智能障礙者的狀況起伏,不僅可為照顧者帶來心理壓力、生理壓力、社會壓力,也讓照顧者萌生無力的愧疚感,認為自己沒有把孩子生的正常也沒有能力把多重智能障礙者照顧好而感到無力與無助。因此,其他家庭成員的協助與肯定是非常重要的。另一方面,部分需要專業知識與專業技術的照顧仍然需要求助於相關專業機構,使照顧者的壓力得以獲得一定程度上的舒緩。當多重智能障礙服務使用者能夠培養出生活的自理能力時,親職照顧者的擔憂就會稍微降低,並且認為自己的付出是值得的,是有效的。他們能夠就此放下,擁有一種重生的幸福感。
    The purposes of study are to explore the process of parental caring for multiple disabilities, the possible difficulties and solutions within the caring process, the relationships within the process, and the possible happiness from parental caring. By using case study and in depth interview, the research objects are the five parental caregivers whose children are taken care of by Yangming Home for the Disabled. The results demonstrate that par ental caregivers are up and down with their children, it gives not only psychological, physical, societal pressures to them but also stimulates the emergence of guilt, parental caregivers do consider powerless and helpless to their children. Therefore, the assistance and affirmation from other family members are important. Furthermore, parental caregivers still need professional knowledge and skills from professional institutes, making them releases from caring. Once multiple disabilities have learnt how to take of themselves, parental caregivers could recognize their efforts are worthy and then could eliminate worries. Parents can own their reborn happiness by not haggling over the future of multiple disabilities.
