MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conventions & Exhibitions)產業是帶動國家經濟發展的重要產業之一,近年來韓國積極推動MICE產業並擴建國際級的展覽場地,產業迅速發展至亞洲的上位圈。本研究主要探討臺灣與韓國發展MICE產業的發展,採用文獻探討法進行相關文獻之蒐集及檢視,針對兩國MICE產業發展現況資料、推動政策進行、現有展館設施彙總,輔以內在的政府其他相關施政資料、外在的國際發展環境趨勢作為資料分析,並發現其中脈絡關係,探討臺灣及韓國MICE產業發展趨勢。其次以Michael Porter的鑽石模型理論作為分析臺灣與韓國於MICE產業的競爭優勢研究工具的一環,期能更清楚臺灣MICE產業發展的競爭力,並提出對臺灣MICE產業發展之建議。
The MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conventions & Exhibitions) industry is one of the important industries that drive the national economic development. In recent years, South Korea has actively expanded the international MICE exhibition venues, and the industry has rapidly developed. This research mainly discusses Taiwan and South Korea Research on the development of the MICE industry adopts the historical method to collect secondary data. Identifying current global statuses, trends, characteristics and analyzing the strategic opinions of MICE report, some strategies and policies.
Compared to Taiwan, Korea has comparative advantages in the size and configurations of MICE infrastructure. And using Michael Porter's diamond model theory as a part of the research tool for analyzing the competitive advantages between Taiwan and South Korea of the MICE industry. This study will provide the way to understand the competitiveness of Taiwan's MICE industry development and to provide insights for developing suggestions of MICE industry in Taiwan.
