Thomas Beversdorf, born in Yorkham, Texas, 1924-1981, died in Bloomington,Indiana.For the 20th century American composer, in 1962 completed the world's third "bass tuba sonata."
The full text is divided into six chapters. The first chapter, Introduction, expounds the research motivation and purpose of this paper and the scope and method of the study. Chapter 2 "Thomas. Beversdorf, a study of the composer's life, works, and style. Chapter 3, "Bass tuba and Sonata", introduces the evolution of bass and sonata. Chapter four, "Music Analysis", the musical structure of each music analysis. Chapter 5, "Playing Interpretation", introduces the music needs attention and the player personal interpretation. Chapter 6" "Conclusions" is discussed and summarized in this paper.
