Abstract:	近四十年來臺灣地區在明清小說方面的整理與出版，大概有三種情況，本文的調查以其中的第一種情況為主，即－由國內學者作註並在臺灣地區出版者，內容包括集體之作與個人專研。這一項整理共分成四部分，一：僅對文中某些詞句略加解釋者，如文源書局出版之『西遊記』、『聊齋誌異』等。二：對文中詞句詳加解釋者，此類有聯經出版公司出版的『水滸傳』等九冊。三：附有版本作者等考證之文章以為引介者，首推國立臺灣師範大學繆天華教授等九位教授整理、三民書局出版的『東周列國志』等十九部明清小說。另外，又有王孝廉、吳宏一等八位教授合力編整的「晚清小說全集」『老殘遊記』等三十七冊，這是博遠出版公司所出版。四：將內容作全面性校對、作註並及於俗字之整理者，有『啖蔗』與『紅樓夢』等書，此是由中國文化大學中國文學研究所出版。
