The paper studies James Joyce's stream of conciousness in terms of "the psychical order". Basically, the psychical order focuses on the order of the myriad inner fluxes in spite of the irrational sequential thoughts of stream of consciousness. It is an effective way to study the multiple levels of the meaning in Joyce's myth-making kingdom.
