與英文名詞man拼法一模一樣,在德文中卻是一個不定代名詞的man可以是某一個人,也可以是某些人或你、我、你們、我們以及每一個人,甚至在中文所表達的詞句當中「人」常常消失不見,(Wie schreibt man das Wort? 這個字怎麼寫?) 學德文的人往往因此無法真正了解其在文中之含意亦無法恰到好處的應用此字。對照比較語言學(Konfrontative Linguistik)是在二十世紀因應現代外語教學需求而產生的一種研究方法。本文旨在利用此研究方法將德文 man 字與其在中文相應的對照詞作一分析比較,期有助于對man字正確用法的學習,避免受母語影響所可能產生的錯誤。
