摘要:	鶯傳〉是中國文學史上家喻戶曉的愛情故事，原作者元稹曾不斷受到詩人、小說家、劇作家的青睞，也一而再再而三的被寫成各種體裁的文學作品。鶯鶯的形像更成了文化的一部份。然而大部份的文評家除了談及她的才華，和對愛情的忠貞之外，並未深入研究「詩情」對她追求愛情的歷程所帶來的影響。事實上，因為鶯鶯對詩的造詣，才賦予她足夠的勇氣來表達情意。以一首〈明月三五夜〉來宣告踏上愛情之路的鶯鶯，又以一封長信來表達愛情的洗禮給她帶來的痛苦，歡樂的情態，以及對於彼我真性的了解。鶯鶯的信以詩意來陳述自己內心的需求。它的結構是迂迴曲折的，因為她的感情是先經過嚴格的省察才轉折而出。這封信含蓄婉轉，溫柔敦厚，發乎性，止乎禮，不激不昂，而相思無窮，綿綿不盡。鶯鶯藉著供詞--書信來追求張生的認同，但是經過知性的了悟，書信結束時所表現的情感已不是書信初始時的狀態。情感的內涵不變，但情感的形態已經昇華。有著浪漫奔放的構圖卻是深沉蘊藉的筆觸，鶯鶯的供詞--書信融和了兩種情境：充分抒寫飄忽無著的情感活動和精微繁複的人性真相。 In the long history of Chinese literature, Yuan Chen's masterpiece entitled Biography of Yingying, a widely-known love story, won the undying favour of a host of ensuing poets, novelists and playwrights. Again and again writers pay homage to the original master whose magnum opus became a sort of recurrent theme in all kinds of literary works. In process of time, Yingying's character became an element of Chinese culture. Nevertheless, the vast majority of critics who endlessly debated on Yingying's literary achievements and her astonishingly enduring fellings for love failed to profoundly analyse the “poetic emotion”that influenced the process of her pursuance of love. As a matter of fact, it is Yingying's poetic talent that made her courageous enough to express her sentiments. She Who first declared her love in a poem entitled Three to five moonlit nights expressed again in a letter-avowal the joy and suffering that love baptism brought her as well as a thorough understanding of her true self and that of her lover. In her letter, Yingying stated her heart's longing. The structure of the missive is sinuous for Yingying's amorous sentiments meandered out only after strict introspection. Discreet, tender and honest in tone, inspired by natural impulse, the letter, however, did not go beyond propriety, expressing eternal love without effusion. By means of this letter-avowal, Yingying sought for Zhang's consent. Yet the sentiment expressed at the end of the letter differed from the sentiment expressed at its beginning. Intrinsically unchanged, the sentiment is sublimated in form. Though based on romantic effusiveness, the discreet letter turned out to be a full description of fugitive emotional activities and a portryal of the true image of human nature that is complexe and subtle.
