Abstract:	韓語慣用語的表達方式，以譬喻居多，以此物此事比喻他物他事但與其本意相差甚遠者，是其特徵。略而言之有直喻、隱喻、借喻、旁借、對代、換喻、曲喻、反語、誇飾、諱飾、婉言、曲語、用典、諧音轉義等。 In most cases, the expressions of Korean idioms are parables. The other expressions are as follows. 1. Simile, using the words "like" or "as" to making a comparison in the imagination between two things. 2. Metaphor, to describe one thing by stating another thing which it can be compared without using the words. 3. Trope, using a word or phrase as a figure of speech. 4. Circumlocution, to express an idea in circular explanations. 5. Allusion, Speaking about something else without directness. 6. Euphemism, to express a fact using a less direct name for something thought to be unpleasant. 7. Irony, using a word that is clearly opposite to one's purpose.
