    An Exploration of Senior Health Improvement Management and Living Support Needed -an Example of Taiwan

    Abstract: 臺灣已邁入高齡社會,而躋身於高齡化社會國家之林,讓屬於高齡者之銀髮族維持應有尊嚴與自主生活,不僅是其本該具備之權利,亦是涵蓋銀髮族本身、家庭、民間團體及政府等整體社會應負之責任。尤其全球人口結構老化已成種勢在必行的趨勢,維持其生活品質與促使醫療成本減輕之健康促進,即成為銀髮族不可或缺的生活要件。
    本研究旨在探討灣地區銀髮族個人健康促進與生活支持需求,將採用結構式問卷,針對65歲以上之銀髮族以便利抽樣方式,進行施測,合計發出750份問卷。在整理出有效樣本資料後,先進行信、效度檢測,並將數據以獨立樣本 t 考驗、單因子變異數分析與皮爾森積差相關分析等統計方法進行資料分析。
    藉由統計分析獲得結果如下:
    1. 銀髮族之健康促進管理會隨其背景變項不同而有顯著差異。
    2. 銀髮族之生活支持需求會其背景變項不同而有顯著差異。
    3. 銀髮族的健康促進管理與生活支持需求具有顯著影響。
    Taiwan has entered an advanced society, and it is among the forests of an aging society, that the senior citizen can maintain their dignity and independent living. It is not only the rights they should have, but also the senior citizen themselves and their families. Civil society and the government should bear the responsibility. In particular, the aging of the global population structure has become an imperative trend. Maintaining the qual-ity of life and promoting health promotion of medical expenses has become an indis-pensable element of life for the senior citizen.
    The study shall use relevant literature to investigate theoretical basis and establish research structure as well as design of research tools. Stratified random sampling is used on senior citizen in Taiwan for examination. A total of 750 questionnaires were sent out and then collected. Data analysis is conducted upon effective samples using statistical methods such as independent-samples t test, one-way analysis of variance and Pearson Correlation. Statistical analysis inductions on main research findings the following re-sults:
    1. The behavior of health promotion differences of senior citizen in Taiwan supports significant differences in the background.
    2. The demand of life support differences of senior citizen in Taiwan supports signif-icant differences in the background.
    3. The senior citizen’s behavior of health promotion and the demand of life support have a positive correlation.
