    Abstract: 蔡鍔有護國軍神與再造共和之美譽,當蔡鍔奉袁世凱召請受困於北京時,更傳出與小鳳仙的愛情故事,甚至於相傳蔡鍔於北京脫困,輾轉返回西南興軍討袁,得力於小鳳仙之相助。本文就撰述此愛情故事舉其要者,分析比較原委。並就史料之研析相互比較,以考證史實與故事傳說間之差異。
    Cai E has gained a reputation as Defend Army Soul and a strong supporter of democracy. In 1913, Yuan had Cai removed from his office and eventually held under house arrest in Beijing. As the story goes, Cai had a relationship with Xiao Feng-xian and he could escape the detention is also with the great help of Xiao. After returning to Yunnan, Cai established the local National Protection Army to resist Yuan and defend the Republic. The purpose of this article is trying to find out the differences between the truth and the romance by comparing and analyzing some important episodes in their love story with the historical material.
