"Taiwan Folk Literature Collection" is a collection of folk literature compiled by Mr. Li Xianyu in 1936. It includes the folktales, folk songs and folk riddles collected in Taiwan. Most of the folk riddles have a form of folk singing, and the sentence patterns are neatly arranged, and the rhymes are lively and changeable. Some of these works are similar to the folk riddles circulating in the mainland, and some are similar to those recorded in various places in Taiwan in recent years. By discussing and analyzing its form and circulation, the period can explore the characteristics of the Taiwanese riddle in the Japanese occupation period and its trajectory of inheritance and change.
