Recently, the development and application of Internet of Thing (IoT) have more and more close to our daily life. According to research, in the future, the use of IoT will account for 40% of the IoT application in health care, showing the potential of IoT. In health care applications, it is often to transmit private data such as the patients physical condition. If the attacker hacks the IoT sensor or stoles the transmitted information, it will violate the legitimate rights. So, a secure IoT wireless sensor network (WSN) remote authentication scheme is necessary. In specific, this study finds the authentication schemes proposed by Wu et al. (2017, 2018) do not provide anonymity protection and the security of the sensor. In this paper, we not only point out the weakness of Wu et al.s schemes (2017, 2018) but also proposes a new IoT WSN remote authentication mechanism for better security and future practical value.
