Tourism and hospitality might be two of the industries that are dramatically transformed by information technology (IT). Literature review is a traditional method to comprehensively understand how IT impacts these industries; however, it is criticized as qualitative and subjective. To improve the disadvantages of previous literature review, this study plans to use bibliometric analysis methods to provide a quantitative and holistic review of how IT reshapes these industries. By means of collecting the keywords from 19 high impact of tourism and hospitality journals and using social network analysis software to analyze, this study could visually contribute to the academia and practitioners an eTourism knowledge map that not only comprehensively and objectively explains what and how the IT-related factors influence tourism and hospitality but also demonstrates the knowledge patterns and structure. In addition, current and potential research hotspots could be systemically identified. Findings can guide future studies on these trends and themes and direct t
