| 摘要: | 依循現代舞發展軌跡進入九○年代中期，呈現出的「新舞蹈」風貌，延續著現代、後現代舞蹈，反叛、創新與實驗精神，並以此精神推翻了長久建構出的舞蹈肢體美學，打破最能展現舞蹈藝術化定義的聯串動作基礎，將不跳舞的概念置入作品之中，如此刻意淡化甚至抽離舞蹈動作元素的表現，呈現出行為與人之互動關係，透過行為表述舞蹈作品理念、議題與思想，強調作品意義、觀眾參與、打破劇場元素、使素人也能舞蹈等觀念；屏除肢體動作後，以大量行為取而代之的新舞蹈，常被提問質疑這是舞蹈嗎？但卻仍在二十一世紀初開始蔓延，奠定著當代舞蹈的發展新頁。
姚淑芬2014年於世紀當代舞團，編創了首部由劇場走進美術館，以髮為中介物，用行為方式探討誓言是否存在的作品《誓‧逝》；這首作品打破場地限制，使觀眾置身於演出場域之中產生互動，並專注於因誓言議題所衍生出的行為表現，同時加入素人演出元素等，這讓《誓‧逝》具備了新舞蹈觀念，也同時擁有專門將議題行為化，行為藝術化呈現的行為藝術特徵，該藝術理論核心「議題」、「表演者」、「時間」、「空間」、「與觀眾的互動」等要素，皆與新舞蹈觀念吻合，故不時有文字工作者將兩者相提並論，著墨於行為表徵意義的撰寫；因此研究者將以行為藝術的五項要素，作為《誓‧逝》的個案分析方法，解讀舞蹈中日益增多的行為特質，探究《誓‧逝》作品中之行為與意涵。
本研究以個案研究法與行為藝術之要素，作為研究與分析基礎，以世紀當代舞團圓長姚淑芬《誓‧逝》作品為例，欲求知：一、瞭解行為藝術發展與其構成要素。二、瞭解現代舞蹈發展中之行為特徵。三、姚淑芬作品《誓‧逝》創作背景與理念探究。 四、《誓‧逝》作品中之存在行為與其意涵。
