In the experiments, the luminous film did not show any data on the photometer at temperatures of 50°C, 80°C, and 100°C, however it still gave out some faint light in the darkroom. The brightness of luminous film was 1 lux when the temperatures was 120°C or 140°C, and it was 2 lux at temperatures of 160°C. After the luminescent sheet had been electrified for 30 minutes, I waited for 5, 10, 20, 30 minutes respectively to implemented measurements of brightness. I found out that brightness of the luminous powder was quite weak, only 1 lux approximately, and the effect of brightness could not be observed with the naked eye in the bright place. Moreover, increasing pressure might not be able to get the electrons in the luminescent film to move, but when scissors or metal objects were used to trim the luminescent film, the metal took away or gave the luminescent film the electrons, which made the luminescent film to shine. The initial brightness of the luminous film is between 16 lux and 18 lux in the general illumination experiments. The brightness falls scale over time, and the average brightness is 17 lux. The brightness will reduce in a linear manner in the first five minutes until it reaches 3 lux, and slowly decreases to 0 lux. In addition, the luminous film will emit more energy and become brighter when it absorbs more energy. Applying EL with dye cloth and fluorescent dye cloth L*a*b* and lux analysis, When the concentration of the fluorescent yellow dye rises to 0.3%, the reflectance increases more then 100 L*. The lux is 194 lux. Fluorescent red and fluorescent orange and dyes reduce brightness and lux. |
